Wonderful weather and enjoyable company we had yesterday in the Barcelona's Big Draw, promoted by the Museu Picasso. For the first time in Barcelona Big Draw was celebrated and I think it will not be the last. No one could imagine how successful it could be, but it was.One of the professionals who participated was Pilarín Bayés, she is one of the illustrators who has drawn all our childhood. Her drawings are like her: happy. It seems as if she was never grown up, as if she would remained an eternal childhood status. Here below there is one of her first works, a bestseller written by Sebastià Sorribas. My daugther and her friends spent a memorable time with her and me too.
Tiempo maravilloso y agradable compañía tuvimos ayer en el Big Draw de Barcelona. Por primera vez en Barcelona se celebró el Big Draw y creo que no será la última. Nadie podía imaginar el éxito que podría ser, pero lo fue. Una de los profesionales que participó fue Pilarín Bayés, ella es una de los ilustradores que ha dibujado toda nuestra niñez. Sus dibujos son como ella: felices. Parece como si nunca hubiera crecido, como si ella siguiera en un estado de infancia eterna. A continuación se encuentra una de sus primeras obras, un best-seller escrito por Sebastià Sorribas. Mi hija pasó junto con sus amigas y amigos un rato inolvidable con Pilarín y yo también.
